It is never a fun time when the dashboard of your car starts to light up, but not all of the lights have equal levels of importance. It is key to know which ones are high priority and need to be checked out as soon as possible. Ron Ananian, host of ‘The Car Doctor’ on the iHeartRadio app spoke with Mendte in the Morning about which light on your dashboard is the one you should worry about.
“Check engine light, that’s like the granddaddy of them all,” Ananian tells host Larry Mendte. “It doesn’t mean your car is about to break down but it’s sort of your car’s way of saying something is not quite right.”
Ananian talked about how much our cars adapt and how the variations can show an issue: “A car goes through its routine every time you start it. The unique thing about cars is it’ll vary dependent upon when was the last time you drove, how hot or cold is it…what elevation are you at; a car can adapt to all these things.”
